Good news: it couldn't be easier.
For a standard 250ml cup, pour 250ml of freshly boiled water (approximately 90-95°C) over 5-7 grams of dried hibiscus flowers (about 1 heaping tablespoon). Cover and let steep for 7-10 minutes, depending on desired strength. The longer you steep, the more tart the flavor and the deeper the color.
Strain and enjoy neat, or add 1 teaspoon of honey or a squeeze of lemon juice to taste.
In summer, it also makes a wonderfully refreshing iced tea: prepare the infusion the same way, let it cool to room temperature, and then refrigerate for at least 2 hours. Serve with a few ice cubes.
