First, rinse 1 tablespoon of uncooked rice under running water to remove dust and impurities. After rinsing, add 2 tablespoons of water to the rice and let it soak for 15-20 minutes. Then drain the water into a clean bowl.
Pour half a tablespoon of aloe vera gel into another clean bowl. Fresh aloe vera gel is excellent, but for best shelf life, store-bought aloe vera gel is recommended.
Add 9 to 10 drops of glycerin (which hydrates the skin) and 1 tablespoon of rose water (for a soothing and moisturizing effect) to the aloe vera gel.
Then add 3 or 4 drops of sandalwood essential oil. Sandalwood is known for its calming and brightening properties, making it ideal for an even complexion.
Finally, add 1 tablespoon of prepared rice water. Mix all ingredients well. If the whey is too thick, you can thin it with more rice water.
