7. Cloves have anti-inflammatory properties.
Cloves contain eugenol, which has anti-inflammatory properties. As a result, consuming cloves may help minimize symptoms of inflammation.
Ingredients:
- 5 to 7 whole cloves
- 1 cup (about 250 ml) of water
Instructions:
- Take 5-7 cloves and rinse them gently.
- Boil water and add cloves.
- Cook over low heat for 5–7 minutes.
- Turn off the heat, cover and set aside for another 10 minutes.
- Strain and drink warm – preferably in the morning on an empty stomach.
