From a certain age, it's important to carefully consider your daily routines. Even one of the most innocuous things—showering—can weaken your skin without you even realizing it. What if we told you that after 65, you no longer need to shower every day? Would you believe it? A fantastic suggestion, but experts have long since refuted it.
Why skin changes with age
A body that grows, a skin that becomes more refined.
As we age, our skin loses some of its natural properties. This is due to a decrease in collagen, elastin, and sebum, the elements that keep skin firm, elastic, and protected.
Think of the skin barrier as a knight's shield: with age, this shield becomes thinner and more fragile. Moreover, external factors like pollution, cold, chemicals, and so on penetrate it more easily. And showering too often isn't an aggravating factor.
Too many showers, very dry
Warm water and soap : reduce the appearance of mature skin.
