4. Sharks

5. King mackerel

King mackerel is banned by almost all health authorities due to its high mercury content. It is particularly dangerous for children, pregnant women, and breastfeeding women.

6. Tilefish (Gulf of Mexico)
The Gulf of Mexico tilefish is among the fish most contaminated with mercury. It is often recommended to avoid this species altogether, especially if you have allergies.
